Here are my rolemodels, they are/have been my trainers, friends and spiritual leaders.
Magnus Persson
Magnus persson is the senior pastor at United The church that me and Hanna helped planting in Malmö, he is a man after Gods heart and an apostle. Whatever he does he does it with all his might and he is a formidable prayer warrior. Magnus is a great friend and mentor and have bailed me and Hanna out at noumerous times when the chips have been down. Magnus has taught me what it means to be a man of God and for that I will be eternally greatful.
Colin “Gabriel” Hatcher
aka Guilbert Deschamps
Colin Hatcher is my Sensei, he graduated me to a blackbelt back in 1995 and has taught me all I know about fighting, first aid, human rights and loyalty to the universal brotherhood/sisterhood of mankind/womankind
Colin Hatcher is a good man, one of the best I have ever been fortunate to meet. He was for all purposes my father figure in the Angels as well as my best friend. If I ever become as good a man as he is I have reached far indeed.
Colin is now a senior instructor at Schola Saint George.
Per Andersson
aka Thomas Langland
P-A took me under his wings as I entered the dream, the knowne worlde and the kingdom of Drachenwald, that is the SCA. He together with his wife taught me all that I know about fencing, medieval cooking, and just about everything I ever wanted to know about the SCA. I was his pupil, and hope he will accept me back once I get back into Holmrike.
Kind and gentle yet fierce with the blade. A good friend and an excellent teacher, I bow to you!
Anna Sjöman
aka Sola
P-A’s wife, who took all the time in the world to help me and Hanna sew our SCA garb and who also carried me home that fateful night my life had gone horribly wrong. The person I have learnt most from being humiliated by.
Master Arenvald von Hagsburg
A man whom I only know by his SCA persona
Master Arenwald the witty scholar with a keen sense of humor and a sharp tounge. I wish I could teach like this man, who never fails to elicit a laugh through his renaissance man antics, yet radiates with genuine care and compassion. One day I hope to be able to stand up to this man with a blade and maybe keep up in a duel of words.
